Sea Cadets Summer Training aboard USS Ashland LSD48
Nine cadets and three adult uniformed leaders of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps Kentucky Division Lexington KY traveled to Norfolk-Little Creek VA for summer training aboard the USS Ashland LSD48.
They were able to go aboard the USS Kearsarge LHD3 and the museum Battleship Wisconsin BB64 in Norfolk VA. They ended the week in Washington DC. The unit is sponsored by NAVY LEAGUE of the U.S. Central KY Council and supported by BLUEGRASS MILITARY AFFAIRS COALITION.
